Knit One, Purl Two -- Wednesday, May 12
Are you a knitter? Do you know a knitter? Would you like to know a knitter? Then have we got an event for you! Come join fellow congregants for an evening of gentle knitting instruction, tasty treats, and lively conversation. This program is open to people of all skill levels. All materials and tools will be provided. We will meet at The Road Less Traveled store, on Main Street, in Santa Ana. This event is hosted by Loren Kaplan. We’ll have you in stitches! $36 per person
Bagels & Bams (Mahj 101) -- Sunday, May 23
There is no need to be afraid of Mah Jongg any longer. This is your opportunity to learn the game and get in on all the fun! Expert player Pam Zitny and company will teach you the game. Bagels and coffee will round out the morning which will be held in the TBS Social Hall. There’s no excuse now not to learn the game. As a bonus…you’ll be ready for the two other Mahj events on the Reservations Only Calendar coming later this year! $18 per person
Art in the Afternoon, CHEMERS GALLERY -- Sunday, June 27
Join your host Rita Chemers and Karen Raab, at the beautiful CHEMERS GALLERY in the Enderle Center, in Tustin. Executive Director Jean Stern, of the Irvine Museum will be your Guest speaker. Ms. Stern will share her expertise En plein air which means "in the open air", and is particularly used to describe the act of painting outdoors. Wine and cheese will be served to complete this perfect afternoon. $20 per person
Chai Time With the Girls -- Saturday, July 17
Spend a warm summer evening with friends sipping Karen’s famous Cosmopolitans, newly perfected Ginger Martini, or refreshing glass of wine. Your hosts, Karen Warren, Jill Weinthal and Linda Weissberg will tantalize your taste buds with their culinary treats. Mingle and make new friends. This could be a new tradition. Send your man to the Ludwig’s for poker that night. $36 per person
Ante Up, Boys! Texas Hold-Em Poker Night -- Saturday, July 17
It’s a great time to relax and join in a friendly, spirited evening of Texas Hold-Em Poker with your hosts Harry Ludwig and Bob Siembieda. Let Harry and Bob deal you some winning hands while you enjoy a manly meal and plenty to wash it down with. Send your gal over to the Warren’s for a Chai Time! $36 per person

Calling all Mah Jongg Maniacs!!! How about a fun Sunday, filled with food, friends, and prizes? This is NOT a competitive tournament...just a friendly game including snacks, lunch and lots of play time. Players of all levels welcome! $36 per person
Jane Austen Tea -- Sunday, July 25

Paula Pitluk and Soni Sanberg would love to see you for a summer gathering and afternoon tea celebrating women young and old. Whether you're an ardent Jane Austen fan or devoted to Clueless, share some tea, scones, sandwiches and sympathy. Mothers, daughters, sisters and friends, let's fill the garden with conversation and laughter as we raise a glass of raspberry champagne to women on a summer afternoon! $ 18 per person
Ten Mile Family Bicycle Ride -- Saturday, August 14
Join your friends and family for a great day of cycling hosted by the Newell, Borovay, Gropper and Silverman families! The 10 mile guided course is primarily flat (no hills) and is perfect for school age kids or anyone that would like to get introduced to cycling. We’ll ride 5 miles to a rest stop where it will be fully staffed and stocked with water and fruit and an opportunity to make any adjustments on your bike. We’ll then continue the ride another 5 miles to the finish. BBQ lunch, beverages and other surprises await! This ride is perfect for families as the entire route is on a dedicated bike path, no surface streets. The ride begins and ends at the same location. We ride 5 miles up and 5 miles back. This is not a race, but a fun event! For ages 7 and up, all Children must be accompanied by an adult. Helmets are mandatory and a water bottle is recommended. Commemorative t-shirt (one size only) for each rider! $25 per adult/ $10 per child ages 7-12

Sumptuous Sunday brunch at the home of Susie and Bruce Amster. Following the meal, enjoy the ocean view and breeze while leisurely strolling down the beautiful Long Beach walking path. The food will be great, the scenery superb…now all we need is you! $50 per person
Summertime Gourmet BBQ -- Saturday, August 21
Gourmet + Barbeque? An oxymoron? We don’t think so. Join Michele and Arnie Shugarman for an end of summer evening dinner…….. covering the world of outdoor cooking, we'll explore some regional and international favorites. Wine and other libations will enhance the evening. You'll never think of BBQ as franks and beans again! $75 per person
Family Backyard BBQ -- Saturday, August 28
Please join your hosts, the Brown Family, for a Family Backyard BBQ - the good old fashioned way. This event is geared for families with kids ages 0-12 years of age. Great food and drinks, horsehoes, sack races, and backyard fun. A good time will be had by all. $50 per family
Dueling Drivers & Delectable Desserts -- Saturday, September 25
Put on your driving caps for a challenging and fun evening road rally! Teams of 4 will compete against each other as they drive all around Orange County looking to uncover hidden facts and secrets. Delicious desserts will be served as each team shares their discoveries! Hosted by Caron and Jeff Winston. $36 per person
Dinner under the Sukkah -- Sunday, September 26
The Mitzvah of Ushpizin reminds us of the beauty of welcoming guests to our Sukkah for a meal, great conversation, and absolutely no whining! Unless of course, it’s a good Merlot, Chardonnay, or Pinot Noir. Join Rabbi Heidi and Matt Cohen in their Sukkah for dinner, good wine and great company. We’ll shake the lulav, taste great fall favorites and join in intriguing conversation. Bid on this with your friends or don’t tell a soul that you’re bidding on it and see who shows up. Either way, it’s guaranteed to be a great night! This is an adults only event for up to 10 people. $100 per person

Everyone can be an artist! Join us as we create a beautiful fused glass masterpiece with glass artist, Randi Peshkin.
